Today is Sunday, October 25th, 2009, and I just finished reading a best-selling book which has greatly impacted my life! It’s entitled “The Shack” (by W. P. Today we had another Blessing Ceremony for our 2nd grandchild, Leonardo, who was born of our 2nd daughter, Sara, and her husband, Wayne, on July 28, 2009. What a beautiful portrait to see my daughter coming down from the stairs, with the baby in her arms, and then putting it in the little baby’s chair next to me, with a reassuring voice that “mummy is going to be back soon”, and that “meanwhile grandpa is going to look after you”. What a sense of worthiness it gives me to know that I have a role in this little one’s life, that I’m like a “father figure” that is going to be watching over her!
